Our Mission

To deliver an outstanding five day Annual Scientific Meeting, consisting of a solid academic program, Practical Diving Techniques Workshops, social events, and showcased by the Tutukaka Coast and the Poor Knights Island Marine Reserve in New Zealand, bringing in all of the amazing goodness that New Zealand has to offer, and leaving a legacy for our communities.

  • To engage, and stimulate with academic programs including presentations, Practical Diving Techniques Workshops, and discussion sessions.

  • To deliver spectacular diving at the World Famous Poor Knights Islands Marine Reserve, known as the Galapagos of the South Pacific.

  • To give back to our local communities, leaving a legacy, and making a difference, by being great ancestors.

  • To shine a light on the Tutukaka Coast and embrace our visitors with warmth, manaakitanga, whanaungatanga, and kotahitanga. (Maori values that mean hospitality, connections through shared experiences, and collaboration)

  • To bring together local providers with similar core values in customer service, and quality, utilising the passion of the Tutukaka Coast with a strong kotahitanga (collaboration)
